Have you ever wanted to try sailing?!? We’re proud to offer this opportunity to sail on beautiful Lake Superior with U.P. Sailing Co. We've got a tentative adventure date of Wednesday Aug. 23 for a 5:00pm sail that is available for 2 participants.

• Because of the layout of the boat and how the vessel is boarded, this excursion would be reserved for people who can ambulate independently or with some assistance. Unfortunately, a wheelchair or power chair cannot be accommodated.  Our last sailing trip in June had two participants with lower leg amputations, both using prosthetics, that were able to enjoy the trip with no issues.

Our captains, Kristen and Brian, are knowledgeable and professional. They make these sailing trips fun and give participants the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the ride - or you have the opportunity to actively participate in sailing the boat (raising the sails, steering from the helm, etc).  However you choose to engage in the adventure, we’re confident you’ll have an experience that you’ll enjoy!

The experience is about 2 to 3 hours and leaves from Marquette’s Lower Harbor.  Feel free to bring your own snacks/drinks.  More details will be provided to the participants selected just prior to the event.
